Today, England finally ended their 30-match unbeaten streak in Australia with a crushing 4-0 defeat that denied them an opportunity to salvage the Ashes series. Not since 2013-14 - and the breakup of their team that followed - have they gone so many matches without a win, and this defeat at Sydney Cricket Ground reignited some doubts about their current state of affairs.
