2x1 – Episode 1

2x4 – Episode 4

It can sustain life, and take it away, it can be beautiful and it can be terrifying. This episode of HIT RECORD ON TV explores everything regarding FIRE. We open with a handcrafted fairytale about a dragon who can't breathe fire, and our host, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, stars as a hit man out for revenge in an eighties-inspired, animated music video made from over 2,000 hand painted frames.

2x5 – Episode 5

This controversial topic starts with a lesson in gun safety, which naturally leads to a series of comedy sketches where writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and actor Zac Efron take aim at the link between guns and masculinity. We discover that Mexico only has one gun shop where you can legally purchase firearms, and we travel back to a time where riding shotgun meant actually packing heat.

2x6 – Episode 6

Everyone's got one, and none of us would be here without them. It seems only right that HIT RECORD ON TV devoted an entire episode regarding Your Mom. Host Joseph Gordon-Levitt presents an episode exploring all things maternal; with a touching look at mothers in the animal kingdom told through vibrant claymation, an animated cartoon poking fun at over-bearing 'Helicopter Moms', a healthy dose of motherly advice, and a music video celebrating the sexier side of motherhood.

2x7 – Episode 7

Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but HITRECORD ON TV spends an entire episode looking at the secrets we keep, and the secrets we don't. Host Joseph Gordon-Levitt and guest Ben Schwartz reveal some genuine secrets in a series of short sketches based on the confessions of real people; we examine the disparity between who we really are, and who we pretend to be online; and an animated music video laments the forbidden love between a boy, a squirrel, and her curious parents.

2x8 – Episode 8

'Hit Record on TV's' season two finale is all about looking forward. However, we start our episode regarding The Future in 1900 with an animated musical number about our fixation on what's coming next. Host Joseph Gordon-Levitt asks us to imagine how future technology might affect the way we live, and musicians from all over the world bring the season to a close with a song about hope for the future.
