The immortal trees In Tokyo a natural treasure has survived for a thousand years. Probably the oldest Japanese cherry tree, each year its flowering is followed by millions of people. In the Mexican province of Oaxaca, the tree of Tule, a majestic cypress, is probably the largest in the world and still growing.

The venerable trees: Guardians of a thousand year-old culture, the monkey puzzle tree of Chile and baobab of Senegal are venerable and venerated. Refuge of genies or incarnation of a spirit, they represent a powerful connection with nature and ancestors past. Sepulchre for one, saviour for the other, both inhabited by a mysticism.
