Noah Funk is a Mennonite in good standing with his church congregation and agrees to become the congregation's new pastor. He has a wife and two teenagers attending high school in the town of Antioch, a small town with a population of 9,500. The Mennonites are struggling with a few of their members being wolves hiding in sheep's clothing. Gerry Epp, while still in jail, threatens Noah that he will come after his brother, his wife and his children if Noah does not follow Eli's instructions in his drug empire. |
1x5 – Communion
Noah and Anna Funk find themselves under excruciating pressure from drug lord Eli Voss when he threatens Eli's brother Abel, and their daughter Tina has also disappeared and Eli advises Noah and Anna all will be well if they do as he says. |
1x6 – Baptism
While Noah is held captive Eli Voss goes about tying up loose ends. Anna continues to show her resourcefulness in the face of dangers arising from the business. Agent Riley and Novak refuse to give up. Someone is forced to choose sides as someone new is shown the business. |
