Tom (Jasper) gets told that if he breaks one more thing he is getting thrown out, so Jerry (Jinx) tries his best to make Jasper "get the boot".

Jerry mouse decides to have a snack, but Tom's ready for him.

Well, a mouse *is* stirring... and he's having fun playing with the toys, until he mistakes Tom for a stuffed toy and wakes him up.

Tom hears a ghost story on the radio and is spooked by it; Jerry notices this and takes advantage of it, using a variety of tricks to scare Tom.

Tom and Jerry put their adversarial relationship on hold after their cat-and-mouse shenanigans awaken a sleeping bulldog.

Tom is playing with Jerry when someone delivers a cute lady cat for Mammy to take care of. Tom is smitten at first sight, and primps a bit. He offers a fish and a canary, but she's not interested . He then retrieves Jerry.

As the title implies, Tom and Jerry are in a bowling alley. Both spend a lot of time sliding on the well-polished lanes. Eventually, Jerry takes up residence among the pins and Tom tries to bowl him down.

Jerry takes advantage of a rather mean tempered hen (that looks suspiciously like a rooster) to hide from Tom.

Tom and another cat fight over Jerry.

Mammy Two-Shoes kicks Tom outta the house and Jerry enjoys his life without him. But he becomes lonely.
